Image
Where was projector invented? The first projector was made by John Logie Baird in the 1920s and could only show a live image from its own television set. So, the first working projection system that allowed for projecting onto a screen was invented in 1966 by engineer named Ivan Owen. It could project videos of different scales up to one hundred inches and had two motors to create fast or slow-motion effects. In 2002, DLP technology was developed by Texas Instruments and Digital Projection Inc. The DLP projector technology, allows for images to be produced in millions of colors. In the next few years, Texas Instruments will produce a chip that can project an image with up to 16 million colors. This chip, known as the TMS320VC550 DLP Cinema Chip, is capable of producing 4K (ultra high-definition) films. It was invented in 2000 at TMS320 Laboratories, which is a subsidiary of Texas Instrument s and operates under Verisilicon Holdings Inc.   Image source: https://www.amaz...
